The Graduate Engineering Mechanics Society serves the student population in the Engineering Mechanics graduate program in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Mechanics by: 

• Connecting students to one another by organizing social events
• Organizing Q&A's with recent engineering mechanics graduates about their experiences in academia, industry and national labs
• Creating instructional documents on useful tools and skills
• Hosting workshops and events for professional development
  

Biweekly meetings are held in Norris 329 from 12 PM - 1:30 PM on a biweekly basis (dates are listed below). Any graduate student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Mechanics is welcome to join our meetings and contribute any ideas and opinions on upcoming events.
