A concise guide to LaTeX including topics such as formatting equations, figures, tables, references, commands, inputs and packages. While reading the guide, the reader should study the included source code used to generate the guide. Doing so will aid in quickly learning the programming language as well as learning common LaTeX features not mentioned in the guide. The concise guide includes links to advanced topics and features not covered in the guide.

Use this document to understand how to construct a curriculum vitae (CV) or resume as an engineering graduate student, how to avoid common pitfalls, and how to tailor these documents for applications to industry or academia.
